This was my first year working for the Nordic Business Forum, and one of the first pieces I’d written under time constraint. Basically, I had to listen to the speech delivered by Nordström then produce a cogent article focusing on one key point within 45 minutes of him walking off stage.
This is the sort of pressure I like. You have to work fast. You must mercilessly strip any unwanted fat from your copy, turning in something that has a point and is error free. Time pressure does wonders to focus the mind!
